Terms and conditions

We have a £200 minimum spend for save the dates and invitations and a £500 minimum spend for on the day stationery. We only post stationery to addresses within the UK.

Save the dates and invitations we require 3-6 weeks for semi-bespoke and 6-8 weeks for bespoke solutions. For on-the-day stationery, we require a minimum of 8 weeks. All time frames are dependent on the client’s correspondence and individual stationery requirements. In busier periods time frames may increase however timeframes will always be communicated to the client before deposits are taken.

Printing and construction of invitations and stationery can take up to three weeks for production to be completed so bear that in mind when ordering. This timeframe DOES NOT include the design time frame above. The design timeframe will be based on what is required and will be agreed on at the final quote stage.

Rush orders are available however, this will need to be agreed on in advance and will incur a rush order fee in addition to the cost of our services.

On-the-day stationery production timelines will be clearly outlined in the initial quotes provided. It is imperative to adhere to these timelines as they are considered final. Clients are hereby notified that any delays in supplying essential information required for the creation of on-the-day stationery will inevitably result in a postponement of the delivery date. Such delays will incur a rush order fee and may render us unable to meet the agreed-upon timeframes.

Deliveries are made with 3rd party delivery services using tracked delivery however, Soon to be Wed will not hold any liability for delays caused by clients and/or the delivery service providers.

All designs in the existing semi-bespoke collection can be altered with small changes to suit you and all text can be changed to your personalised wording. If you would like to make any larger design changes beyond this, there will be a discretionary design fee payable depending on the work required. All semi-bespoke designs include a maximum of two formal design updates/changes. Any additional alterations and reviews beyond this are up to our discretion and can incur additional fees and will be chargeable.

All digital only designs will be sent for use online only. We do not offer or supply print ready files to be printed by the client. All printing of our designs must be provided by Soon to be Wed.

Once we begin working with a client we expect to continue working with the same person of contact and will not continue our work with a new point of contact. Changing a point of contact will incur a £50 ‘change of contact fee’ for our work to resume. Work will be paused until the fee is paid.

All fully bespoke designs are subject to a bespoke fee agreed with the client in the quote/proposal process. We cannot copy or use any other stationery designs that you provide. We may ask you to provide your design inspiration images and we can create something personal to you however, we will be unable to copy any designs.

All designs include a maximum of two formal review stages. At each stage, it is the client’s responsibility to review all provided documents and feedback in detail about the overall design, text and content. During these stages, changes can be made within the boundaries of the agreed upon design concept. If the design changes significantly from the initial agreed upon brief, then additional design charges may apply. Any additional alterations and reviews beyond this are up to our discretion and can incur additional fees and will be chargeable.

Quotes have an itemised breakdown for clarity however are priced as a bundle. Anything not printed on the agreed quotes will not be included and work should not be assumed unless stated. If agreed upon, quotes can be amended, and additional items can be added after the deposit has been paid.

We will always send a PDF proof to you to be signed off and approved before we send the designs off to print. Until these are approved by the client nothing will be sent to print. Any delays in correspondence from the clients will affect and delay the final outcomes and may delay the delivery date. Soon to be Wed will not hold any liability for delays caused by the client.

Once you have signed off your proof you bear final responsibility for the design and written elements of your invitations and signage. You will then be responsible for any errors and Soon to be Wed will not hold any financial costs of reprinting and reshipping any orders that have been approved by the client. The responsibility of all wording is the client’s and not the service provider’s. We can work with pre-approved templates that we use or if you wish to provide your own wording, we will use the information that you have provided.

We DO NOT proofread your text.

We require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to proceed with any design work. The remaining balance will be required upon approval of your final proof before the work is sent off to print. Within the design stage, if the client chooses to cease work, the non-refundable initial deposit will remain with the service provider to cover design and consultation costs. 

To secure your future date for Soon to be Wed to begin your stationery you can pay an optional deposit of £100.00. Once we begin the process you will be required to pay the remaining 50% deposit for us to begin with any design work. All deposit amounts will be deducted from your final fee.

Postage and packaging will be automatically added to your quote. Rush orders and delivery needed quickly are subject to a higher postage and packaging fee.

We reserve the right to share all work on our website, any subsequent websites, and social media channels. We will assume client permission to post images of work unless we receive written notice from the clients to oppose it. We reserve the right to reprint designs for showcase at wedding fairs and other business-related events.

No returns or refunds will be issued as all items are personalised.
